Shopping and restaurants

Helle Halen's cafeteria

In the Helle Hallen cafeteria you can buy classic café dishes and grilled food as well as a good selection of drinks and snacks. This is also where you pick up your breakfast package if you have ordered it. There are dining areas in the cafeteria, but you can also bring your food back to the cabin.

Shops in the local area

3 km. From Helle Aktivitetshotel you’ll find the village of Fåborg, which has one of Denmark’s first 100% self-service supermarkets where you can buy groceries around the clock. You enter by using your MitID app.

For a little more choice, you’ll find the towns of Nordenskov and Agerbæk 5 km from your cabin. They both have well-stocked grocery stores. Agerbæk also has small eateries, a large DIY store, electrical store, gift shops, etc.

Esbjerg and Varde

Esbjerg and Varde are the largest cities in our area. They are both just a 15-20 minute drive from Helle Hallen and have plenty of shopping, restaurants, cinemas, etc.

Varde is a cozy old market town with lots of soul and personality. Esbjerg is Denmark’s 5th largest city and is always worth a visit. In addition to a wealth of specialty shops and restaurants, you’ll also find West Jutland’s largest shopping center Broen and the exciting museum Fiskeri og Søfartsmuseet.
